Eric T Baum, DMD FAGD

Dr. Eric BaumDr. Baum grew up in Stony Brook, and graduated from Ward Melville High School, in 1988. He left the area for several years to complete his education, earning a Bachelors Degree in Biology in 1992 and his Dental Degree in 1996, from The University of Medicine and Dentistry- New Jersey Dental School.

He then completed a Hospital Residency at The New York Hospital –Medical Center of Queens, working alongside some of the areas top and most respected dentists, receiving advanced training in all areas of dentistry.

Dr. Baum relocated his practice to Stony Brook in 2001, with the construction of this new office. By building a new office, he was able to incorporate new technologies with great design to make your dental experience better.

Dr. Baum frequently attends continuing education course to help expand his scope of training, so that his patients will receive the best care. He has completed advanced training in all phases of dentistry, with a focus on Implant and Cosmetic Dentistry. In 2012 Dr. baum was awarded his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, an award acheived by less than 10% a dentists in America.

Outside of work, Dr. Baum enjoys playing tennis, playing the drums, spending time with his wife, playing playdoh and tea parties with his daughter, and coaching his son’s soccer team.
