Digital X Ray

At Stony Brook Family and Laser Dentistry, we use comfortable digital X-rays to learn quite a bit about your teeth.

What a digital X-ray is capable of is taking pictures of your teeth, or a tooth, and processing it into a digital imaging program. Using the imaging program, your dentist can then inspect your teeth more closely as ever before, as imaging tools allow our dental professionals to zoom in and inspect to get to the root of any tooth problem.

If radiation is a concern, you will be happy to learn that our digital X-rays use 80% less radiation when compared to a standard X-ray, as they provide your dental professional with a better look at your teeth than ever before!
