Intraoral Camera

Where advancements in modern dentistry are concerned, our intraoral cameras are some of our most useful tools at Stony Brook Family and Laser Dentistry.

We use these cameras as a type of diagnostic tool that gets a better look at your mouth when compared even to a digital X-ray, and these small cameras can reach angles on the teeth never fully imagined before. While we may use the camera to inspect a single tooth, they’re often used to inspect the entire mouth as a whole, and this allows us to better assess dental concerns or the state of any potential problems which may arise. One aspect that we find many patients enjoy about the intraoral camera is that they can see the images being taken in real-time along with their dentist!
